Coming Soon to Connersville!

George's Connersville is almost ready!

We look forward to serving Connersville and Fayette County!

George’s Pharmacy is proud to announce their plans to open a store in Connersville. The new store in Connersville will be George’s seventh location, joining stores in Brookville, Sunman, Versailles, Bright, Milan and Batesville for the locally owned pharmacy.

The new store will be located on the north side of East 5th Street, with a retail space for the pharmacy, medical equipment, gift items, and beer, wine, and spirits. The store will also have a drive-thru window, and operate as a base of George’s delivery services to Fayette County and the surrounding area.

George’s truly is a family pharmacy, founded by George Gillman in 1985 in Brookville, who now operates the business along with his sons Blake and Trent.

“We’re very excited about opening in Connersville, and we look forward to serving the people of Fayette County and the surrounding area,” says Blake Gillman. “We have been asked for years if we could put a store in Connersville, as we already have many customers in and around town. We’re happy that we will be able to serve those customers better with the new store.”

George’s is one of the fastest growing businesses in southeastern Indiana, adding 6 stores in the past 10 years, and creating many jobs in the communities they serve. Their delivery area has expanded to the Indianapolis, Cincinnati and Louisville metro-areas.

“Our delivery service has grown to where we’re delivering to large part of Indiana, and into Ohio and Kentucky as well,” says Trent Gillman. “We already have delivery vans in Connersville 5 days a week.”

In addition to prescriptions, George’s offers a full line of medical equipment including power chairs, lift chairs, hospital beds, oxygen concentrators, nebulizers, cpap & bipap and much more. George’s also offers 24 hour respiratory services as a function of their delivery service.

“We can’t thank our customers and the communities we serve enough for the growth in George’s,” says George. “We’ve always hoped we’d be able to come to Connersville someday, and finally everything worked out for it. We thank everyone who’s helped make it so.”
